likes,
Traveling - As a ranger, she has been on the move around the northern kingdoms of Middle Earth visiting nearby villages and establishments that she knows. As a ranger she has learned to take not of the landscape around her and has found a few shortcuts through them. She has only been out of the north numerous times as a child visiting her stepmother in the south, but she doesn't recall the paths that she has taken as a child, although that is a complete lie. Emery likes to venture out into other areas, but now that there's a new war upon them she has discontinued that to only help those that were in the path of Isengard's army, mostly a few small Dunedain villages to the south to Minas Tirith where their Chieftain and King resides.
Night Sky - when things are quiet sometimes at night she loves to just stay outside to look at the stars above that alone gives her hope of a brighter and yet peaceful future.
Her friends - if she happens to visit a area where her friends just happen to be at. she mostly stays with them in a local pub talking about new developments or having a few laughs. she would go above and beyond to protect them since her friends are now her 'family'.
Swords - being a dunedain, she was raised to be a skilled swords-woman by her father although her stepmother wished her to be raised as a housewife. She received her first actual sword on her 30th birthday when she became a Ranger, but recently she hasn't been more prouder to carry a sword since the one that she carries now is that of her belated father's. She maybe a good swords-woman just like other Dunedians, but she doesn't hold a candle to her leader and now King.
Gondor - As long as her people been around, she as always served under the King's banner, even when the banner wasn't flying, with loyalty in hopes that Islidur's heir would take the throne and was shocked when her people's Chieftain was infact the heir. Now that the banner is flying she is extremely loyal and proud to serve under the King's banner. If the great battle comes, she would stand with her brother's and sister's in arms to protect the land.
dislikes,
Former Steward of Gondor - She does not approve on how he has run the kingdom. Now that he is a dangerous ally of Isenguard, she can only turn a evil eye on him or anyone that mentions his name including Saruman's.
Being told to stay put - This is mainly at anyone that tells her to stay when a situation is more dangerous for her. This has occurred multiple times in the past when she would rebel and go after or tag along only to prove herself worthy of being there. Most of these situations has occurred with her air-head friends in which she ended up saving their butts from ones 'genius ideas' that gets them into trouble to them nearly being killed, including herself. Although if she overhears anything, she listens to her heart and immediately sets out to help out no matter how bad the situation is. She would of helped out in the war of the Ring, but she was forced to stay within the North by her father.
Orcs - she knows that they are in league with Isengaurd. She knows what to expect of them if they strike her or Minas Tirith. She is prepared to fight them if need be.
Saruman - she only has a great hate towards him and hopes that his great dream will be destroyed before it can process and reek havoc on the Western nations.
Apples - eversince she was a child. she always had a great dislike for them for no apparent reason, although it is told by one of her friends that she had found a worm in one as a child that turned her off of them.
strengths,
Open-mindedness - Emery can judge from both sides of a subject or a argument. She tends to weigh in all the evidence fairly before speaking.
Curiosity - she has the love of taking interests on new things whether it is news or a task that she has received. Although she is curious when a subject that she doesn't know of begins.
Bravery - she knows that there is a war coming and is very brave on wanting to act in battle or saving her friends skin from a idiot idea. She is also brave in doing things that she is nervous on doing like doing a public speech or going before royalty.
Kindness - she is known to be very kind towards everyone including her friends. She often shows compassion for others when helping them out in things and is generous to those that need help.
Loyalty - she is extremely loyal to those that she serves under and is friends with. She would always remain true to her words and would go above and beyond to remain loyal to those she knows.
weaknesses,
Rebellious - she has a tendency of breaking the rules when she knows that she is right. She tends to seek to achieve a goal in order to help or to make sure something goes to plan.
Scattered - unlike most people Emery tends to be a bit of a scattered minded person which leads to her forgetting or most presumably not listening.
Negative - the only time when this occurs is when someone says a negative comment about her or about Gondor or anyone else. This also usually out the sarcasm. Other then that her words are positive.
Sensitive - she tends to be very sensitive when someone is sick, dying, or when someone pushes her buttons.
Silly - she tends to be silly when something serious is going on like giving a humorous comment or two when others are serious about the situation.
fears,
Spiders - she goes crazy when or if she sees one nearby. She tends to kill it come hail or high water.
Shadows - she suffers from a slight paranoia problem with this. She does not like to be in a dimly dark or completely darken room due that she tends to see dark tall shadows everywhere. At times she feels like she is being followed by them.
dreams,
to live, laugh, and to love - She wants to continue to live life to the fullest during these dark times. She wants to experiences the laughter of the light that is still in the darkness which is to have fun with her friends and have fun by herself. She hopes to find the love of her life sometime and is not worried on finding him cause she knows when the time is right they will find each other.
personality,
For a girl like Emery, she is known to have a equal balanced of both the light and of the dark side making her have a good personality. In the lighter side, she can be very kind and helpful such has helping those that needs to get something done or they are sick or they are in trouble. She tends to do everything that she can in order for them to survive, but if she can't she will find a way to get attention to them. She is also a very sweet young lady always doing things for people and always minding her matters towards people whether they are of the lowest of the classes or the highest. She respects them all. She is a very bright and intelligent child learning things that are beyond her level at a young age. She has the knowledge of the layout of the land and the history of the West. She can also backtrack in a unfamiliar area that she ventures in.
On the darker side, she is known to very a pretty dark side if not the sensitiveness. To start off she can be very rebellious defying those to get the right thing done. She knows in her heart what are the right and wrong thing yet she goes against the rules in order to follow her heart. She can also be very sensitive when someone is hurt or is dying like when she found out her father has passed on. Although she can get pretty physical when someone bashes her or anyone else that she knows. This sometimes leads to her negative feedback towards something or someone.
All in all. Emery is a typical girl with the average personality. She is a well rounded young lady with the hope of her homeland seeing a brighter future as well as the hope of stopping Saruman before it's too late. She is a very brave and adventurous young girl always wanting to explore the lands away from the West and yet see wants to achieve her life time goals of living life to the fullest, laughing despite the darkness growing around her, and to let love lead her to her future.

history,
Emerson Rose Armigar was brought into the darken world of middle earth on January 29th, 2941 in her parent's home in a small Dunedain village in the northern kingdom of Arnor. Her parents Valderian and Lothariel were overjoyed to have a daughter. Through her parents, Emery had both regional heritage due that her father was a natural born Northerner and her mother was a natural born Southerner, but she was still a full blooded Dunedian within. For three long years, Emerson, now nicknamed Emery, was a active child always finding ways to get into trouble and was always the pride of her father's heart. Both of her parents loved her dearly, but the young happy family soon came crashing down when Emery was only five years old. While her father was out doing his ranger business, her mother fell ill and Emery did everything she could to go and get help just has her father was returning home. She quickly ran to him and told him about her mother falling ill. During the night, her mother passed away by an unknown illness that captured her life inside. Emery and her father mourned the loss and after the burial. Her father made the decision to take Emery and live life as a nomad for awhile. They did pay their final respects to her mother before they left the village and roamed the lands far and deep. As a growing child her father taught her everything that she needed to know, including how to use a sword, which was just a stick at the time and became quite good at it.
One day, a few years later in the southern region of Gondor, her father met a noble woman, a mortal, named Cersei Meneldian, who was at first very kind and motherly towards her, but Emery refused to believe it as most children would. Within a few months, her father remarried in order for Emery to have a motherly figure since she was growing up fast before his very eyes. The family lived in society in a southern town, much to Emery's excitement, but as time passed, Emery grew up into a very beautiful teenager and in time she reminded her father of her mother. At seventeen years old, Emery became an accomplished swords-woman by her father's training, but that night she overheard her stepmother and father arguing about what her path should be. Her stepmother fought over that she needed to be taught to be a young lady and would one day will be a mother, of course her father reminded her stepmother that she wasn't a normal human, but a Dunedain and would have a family when she was ready. It didn't take the arguments long enough to cause a separation between the couple and like most mother like figures, Ceresi gained Emery and over the years, tension grew between them to the point where Emery could not remind there. At the age of 24, Emery left the southern region in the dead of night and made her way back into the northern kingdom which took about a year and a half's worth of traveling. Emery returned to the village that she was born in only to be reunited with her father, who was just about to go out on a mission. Emery went with him and on her 30th birthday, she received her first sword and became a Ranger under her father's guidance.
Over the next forty years, Emery remained with her father, but as she grew older and wiser she would stay on the road for a very long time sometimes exploring the lands around her. She gained friends over the year and some close ones that she became almost like a mother hen too, especially those that had genius ideas that got them into trouble or had her or nearly all of them killed. She remained true under the banner of Gondor and helped anyone that needed it. At age 70, darkness began to descend on the lands and the first sign of trouble came to the north by word of mouth that Sauron was back and the black clouds of Mordor was in the air. This caused Emery to become curious and she went home to ask her father about it. Of course he explained it, but he advised her to stay away and keep to the northern lands. She did, eventhough she would soon clash against him a few years later when the great battle of Gondor was taking place, but she remained along the Northern borders hearing for the word of the outcome. It was only a few months later when the war was won and the leader of the village raised the flag of Gondor in the square on the day of the crowning of their Chieftain, who's now known as King Elessar Telcontar, in Minas Tirith. Emery celebrated with her friends and the villagers.
Although the celebration was short lived when the news came that the fallen tower of Isenguard was once again running and the sudden battle with Rohan that took everyone in the west by surprise. Her father immediately went with a group of men to the forest of Mirkwood where it would soon be captured by Saruman's forces. Emery was in Bree at the time that the news reached her, feeling for her father and doing was was right she quickly made her way there with her friends flanking behind her. Only upon arriving, she found him hanging on by a thread. Emery wanted to find help, but with his wounds too great he told her to be strong and always trust her heart no matter what others had and will tell her. Before he gave up his life, he gave her his sword and told her do what it takes to defeat this madness. She promised him that and as the sun rose her father passed on in her arms. With a shattered heart they took her father's body back to the village and laid him to rest next to her mother.
It wasn't long after this that news came of the army was approaching the neighboring villages that were in the path. Emery left with her friends to go and clear out. They reached one of the villages which was already being hammered on and with her friends they fought against the army to the point where they could manage an escape time for the villagers. After the army left or fled away, she overheard that others were being moved to the far west, but she told them they should head for Minas Tirith despite the dangers along the way and the former steward of gondor, who is rumored to be on Saruman's side. Along the journey, Emery fell into a state of sadness and depression due to her father's recent death it reflected on her friendship and appearance wise. Looking tired and closed up all the time. Within a few months after taking a safe route to the white city they arrived seeking help and shelter from their chieftain and newly crowned King. Emery is prepared to fight against this madness, but at the current time and situation she is in, she has begun to doubt herself about it.

(taken from my post as Hannah from my TB site)
The last rays of sunlight was cresting the horizon giving the central time zone it's final warmth until the next daybreak. Hannah stood on top of one of the skyscrapers that lined the busy border city of Shreveport. With her enhanced vision she stared far into the west well over into the neighboring state of Texas just to wish the sun it's goodbyes. She had been in Louisiana for a few months now, living in her home which used to belong to the former Queen of Louisiana. She admit the the woman had taste, but poor uses of being a rightful ruler. William Compton, a close friend and ally of her guardian Edwin of Tennessee, had killed Sophie Anne and was given the title by the AVL, but in return he and his vampire sheriff Eric Northman killed Nan for some unknown reason. It didn't take much time that Hannah learned about the AVL's advances on them by uncover sources ones that were valuable to any King or Queen. Hannah had made a quick phone call to Edwin the other night, but was told to not hesitate just to stay in their area known as Area 5 just incase. Mostly acting as a watch out for them until any sign of AVL activity was seen or heard in the area.
With the last few rays of sunlight setting on the horizon, Hannah took in the painted sky and the warmth of the rays so that the sunlight would linger on her hard skin until the next day. Being a hybrid, she could stay in the sunlight unlike her vampire cousins as she came to call them after 97 years on this earth, also unlike her human cousins, her kind can stay up without getting tired, although she threw in a few hours of sleep in just to feel recharged as people put it. Within a few minutes the sun was gone and the dark sky claimed the heavily lit city that was a little too bright from the rooftop. Hannah placed a piece of her hair behind her ear and left the rooftop to the street below. She walked the sidewalk in a normal human speed so she could blend in. Her kind, human/vampire hybrid, were declared an abomination to the vampire race many years ago and had were highly dangerous, but they weren't they had both powers of the vampire, but proved to be highly special for things that they could do that the fucking AVL didn't know. Such as being day walkers and immune to silver, but of course her kind didn't have fangs only very sharp human teeth that separated them. Hannah didn't care worth a flip about the AVL. They were the ones that had killed off many of her kind and now the population was at only thirty due that the last mate-able vampire was killed several years ago. So they weren't going to be climbing in population anytime soon, so the AVL could go fuck themselves or let them coexist with their cousins like she had been doing since she was saved on the Titanic, 97 years ago.
She walked along the busy streets of the city, heading to a well known vampire bar that the Sheriff of the area owned. She might as well visit there since she had heard alot about it in Nashville and other places that she had been in. Turning down a lesser busy street, silence came over which was eerie, but welcoming to her. For once, after snooping around the AVL or had people do it for her, she could relax a bit, but it wasn't long until she stopped sensing several vampires making their way towards her by their scent it was the smell of their cologne and clothing that made her realize it was the AVL. She had been told to be extra careful if she happened to meet them. Hearing a voice that well enough belong to Roman, the leader of the AVL, she turned around to see him, but she wasn't afraid when he and his gay guards surrounded her pointing guns at her. "Really Guardian? Is this how you treat a lady that you want to talk to?" she asked her early 1900's voice mixing in with the modern accent of the south.
"I wouldn't highly call that interesting. There are some of us that live here in this fucked up state." she said calmly as if she was treating this like the talk of the weather. She wasn't afraid or anything she knew why the AVL was capable off and by the way he looked and felt he was very pissed off. He was the one that had most of her kind killed off so many years ago. Hannah listened to him and shook her head. She never carried a weapon on her, she was capable of fighting up to a 800 year old vampire, "I don't carry any weapons on me Guardian. I am capable of fighting off just about anyone physically then fight with a weapon. It seems pretty childish to fight with a mere weapon then in hand to hand combat." Hannah's intelligence rang through her words as she spoke. She was very intelligent like most of her kind were. She stood there calmly waiting for his reply.
